Wellis OZMIX ozone mixer

This mixing chamber is designed to facilitate the dissolution of ozone in water. It is part of the Wellis OZMIX disinfection system.

It consists of the following components:

• 1 mixing chamber
• 1 stirring grid
• 1 elbow with seal and nut
• 1 nozzle with O-ring and integrated ozone injector
• 1 housing to store the Wellis ozonator.
• 4 screws for fixing the housing cover

The ozone injector is integrated in the nozzle attached to the inlet of the mixing chamber. It is therefore possible to install this system as a replacement for an existing injector. At the outlet of the mixing chamber, the ozone will be almost 100% dissolved, but air bubbles will remain in the water because the injection will be the result of a mixture of air and water.

The mixing chamber is compatible with a 3/4" hose for water circulation and a 1/4" hose for ozone.

Be aware that it can be complicated to set up an injector. The venturi effect will only work if you have a significant pressure difference across the injector; i.e. a maximum inlet pressure and a minimum outlet pressure. Spa manufacturers do a lot of testing to find the optimal location for the ozone injector; be prepared to do the same if you install your own injection system.
