Using the Spa Energy Optimiser app on your smartphone or computer, you can optimize the electricity costs of heating your spa. Zavepower claims savings of up to 80% on your electricity bill!

The Spa Energy Optimiser is also a great cost-saving heating management solution for energy contract customers with peak and off-peak options.

How does it work?
Simply connect the smart box to a keyboard plug on your Balboa BP series control system.
You can then easily control the heating parameters using the Spa Energy Optimiser application, which can be downloaded to your smartphone (available from the App store and Google Play), or directly to your computer.

You can set your own conditions via the interface. For example, the maximum cost per kilowatt at which you'd like the bath to be heated, the target temperature the spa should reach, balancing the cost wish with the expectation of use.

The Spa Energy Optimiser module then automatically selects the times of day when electricity prices are lowest to heat the water.

Countries currently covered by the "Spa Energy Optimiser" for automatic management according to kWh price are Germany, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and the UK. France is currently under development. No need to worry if your country isn't on the list: the Spa Energy Optimiser parameters can be set manually, even if your country isn't yet listed.
