Waterway 2" heater flow switch tee

This heater union is equipped with a 2-inch (78 mm) MBT type screw thread, a 2 "(60 mm) male fitting, and a threaded slot with a 0.5" FPT type screw thread (18 mm inside).

It is attached to the heater with a split nut and gasket, and the threaded opening is normally used to screw a flow sensor into place. This part can be seen in particular on some heaters from Astrel, equipped with a flow detector.
