Check the diameter and length of the thread on your current filter. The Proline filter (this one) has a thread diameter of 57 mm and a length of 17 mm, while the Pleatco filter has a thread diameter of 55 mm and a length of 22 mm. The two brands are not interchangeable, unfortunately.

The length of the filter excludes the thread.
