This Slinger fits many LX Whirlpool pumps, except for LP/WP and DH1.0 models, which have a specific slinger.
It is conical, and fits on the motor shaft with the large side pointing towards the wet end and the narrow side towards the motor.
The Slinger helps to prevent water from reaching the motor in the event of a leak from the wet end.
