Balboa GS504SZ control system, reconditioned
This economical Balboa spa control system is a great option for retro-fitting older hot tubs if the original equipment has died. It uses Balboa's patented M7 technology which eliminates pressure switches or flow switches and uses Balboa temperature sensors.
This model is reconditioned, with some small scratches on the plastic shell. It works perfectly well.
It can manage the following equipment:
- Pump 1 single or two-speed
- Pump 2 single-speed
- 24-hour circulation pump
- Ozonator
- Underwater lighting
- Sound system
- Built-in 3 kW heater
The equipment connects to the control system using AMP plugs.
If you want to install a blower instead of a second massage pump, use a GS501SZ. The GS504SZ can be converted to GS514SZ by adding a Balboa X-P231 expansions board.

Power supply
The GS504SZ system is delivered pre-configured for a single-phase power supply. It can also be configured with a two-phase and three-phase power supply (for a distribution of the various units between the phases). If you have additional questions, please refer to the GS501SZ user's manual or contact us when placing your order, and we will take care of the configuration before sending the system.
You may also want to replace your cable gland if necessary!
