1.5" MBT to 1.5 MPT threaded adapter

This adapter is equipped on one side with a standard screw thread (type MPT), size 1.5-inch, and on the other side with an asymmetric screw thread of type MBT (Male Buttress Thread), also size 1.5-inch.

It can be very useful in certain situations! The MPT side is screwed into threaded connections found everywhere. The MBT side can be connected to a 62 mm pump union (for 1.5-inch or 50 mm pipes, for example)
