This system uses a UV-C lamp to disinfect spa water. UV-C water treatment is hypoallergenic and highly effective in destroying bacteria and viruses in spa water. UV-C disinfection helps keep spa water sterile, while allowing you to reduce the use of chlorine and other chemicals.
It is designed for all portable spas with a water volume up to 8000 litres. Wellis uses it on its 8036 litre Amazonas swim spa, for example.
The system includes :
- 1 stainless steel chamber, with 3/4" hose fittings
- 1 UV-C bulb
- 1 quartz
- 1 Transformer, cabled with an AMP plug and an indicator light
- 1 O'ring
- 2 clips for the chamber
- Retaining clamp for the transformer, if needed
The Wellis UV-C system is not compatible with a salt disinfection treatment, and should not be installed on a circulation system with a two-speed pump; it should only be installed with a dedicated circulation pump. Contact us for more information!
