Wet end seal PS-3865R for salt water
This wet end seal is intended for spas that use a salt-water chlorination system.
The wet end seal ensures that the water doesn't leak out of the pump wet end, along the motor shaft. It comes in two parts: one mounts on the wet end and the other slots in behind the impeller.
Waterway recommends remplacing the slinger at the same time as the wet end seal.
For a better seal at the steel collar, we recommend the addition of a silicone gasket or an O-ring.
Some wet end pumps are supplied with wet end seals that have an additional o-ring seal. In the case of a wet end seal replacement (delivered without o-ring), we advise you to add silicone to the bottom of the wet end pump to to ensure it is sealed correctly.
