Spare parts for Aquamarine hot tubs

Spare parts for Aquamarine hot tubs - Click to enlarge

Aquamarine was one of the first manufacturers of portable spas in France, with a factory in Villeneuve-sur-Lot in the early 1990s.  Between 1998 and 2003, Aquamarine was part of the Hawtin group, which also owned the British manufacturer Spaform.  Looking at the spas of the time, there are many similarities between the Aquamarine and Spaform brands, suggesting that the two companies were sharing their molds and negotiating together to purchase the components.  Both plants manufactured portable spas, but also built-in shells and overflow spas for communities.

The two companies became independent again in 2003, and both have since experienced financial difficulties.  Spaform was acquired by Teuco in 2008, and production was transferred to the Montelupone plant in Italy... which itself closed in 2017.  The judicial liquidation of Aquamarine took place in 2016.

Below is a list of parts installed on spas manufactured by these two brands, but it is far from exhaustive.  If you are looking for a part for your Aquamarine or Spaform spa that does not appear on this list, please feel free to us and send us pictures of the part if possible.

Pumps
Both brands have tried several brands of European-made pumps.

Cartridge filters

  • There are two PWW50 filters in large portable spas
  • Small portable spas often have a pair of PRB17.5
  • Some small Aquamarine spas use the PWW10
Jets
Spaform and Aquamarine were loyal customers at Waterway.
Other parts to be sealed
Like the jets, it was Waterway.
Control systems and keyboards
Both brands installed Balboa control systems. The oldest systems are no longer manufactured. This is the case for the SF100 and SF273/AQU 273, but we still have some motherboards in stock for repairs.  In many cases, it would be necessary to provide a retrofit, where you replace the housing (with its integrated heater) and keyboard at the same time.  Feel free to contact us for advice, if necessary.
  • SF100 system and VL701S keypad
  • SF273 / AQU273 System (SP=Spaform, AQU=Aquamarine) and VL801D keypad
  • The Lite Leader systems are no longer manufactured, but we still have some motherboards and keypads left
  • All these old systems used the Tecmark 3158 pressure switch
