3-part union 1.5" MPT to 50 mm socket

This three-part union has a 1.5-inch MPT thread on one end and 50 mm female output on the other.

It is most commonly used to connect to filters, but it can also be used as a multi-port connector on some models of pump, including the Iron Might, Uni-Might and Hi-Flo.

To prevent any risk of leakage, the pipes on either side of the union must also be clipped to a support (wall or floor) in order to keep them well aligned despite the weight of the pipes and water, and vibrations.
