The Circ-Master HP pump uses a motor manufactured by Emerson US Motors, which was specifically designed for use as a 24-hour pump in portable spas.
It has a return (outflow) to the side, unlike its cousin the Circ-Master CP (CMCP), which has a return positioned centrally directly above the suction connection. Both pumps use the same motor: an Emerson US Motor 1/15 HP.
Its construction includes permanently lubricated front and rear ball bearings for extended motor life, and a carbon graphite self-lubricating seal.
Older versions of this pump use a motor manufactured by Marathon Electric. The new version is wider than the original, because the electrical box is now mounted on the side of the motor, whereas it was previously on top. In some cases, notably on Beachcomber Spas, this extra width may complicate the installation of the new pump.

The suction and return both have 1.5" MBT thread, with a outside diameter of 62 mm. We offer unions for 1.5-inch pipe.
Cable and plug
The Aqua-Flo CMHP pump is delivered pre-cabled with an AMP plug (length 210 cm). You can also choose to have it pre-cabled with a mini J&J plug.
An in.link plug is also available, but we recommend that you keep your existing cable if it's in good condition. Your pump may indeed be defective for many reasons, but the power cable is rarely to blame.

Similar pumps
The Waterway Iron Might and Balboa 1/15 HP pumps have the same motor power and thread size as the CMHP, and roughly similar dimensions. If you want to replace your pump with another model, you must check beforehand the available space and the fixing distances as pipe connection adjustments may be necessary.
