Spa System Flush is an enzyme-based cleaner which breaks down biofilm and other deposits which may be lurking in the plumbing of your spa.
If you have noticed any slime around the water line, skimmer or jets, or if you've seen any unexplained green, black, brown or white flakes in the water, chances are that your spa is infected with biofilm. Biofilm is formed from the oil, grime and bacteria which is introduced into your spa. Over time, the bacteria binds it all together in a slimy film which can coat the inside of the plumbing of your spa. Once your spa has biofilm, it can be difficult to maintain proper sanitation of the water.
Spa System Flush is easy to use. First, remove the filter of your spa, then add Spa System Flush to the water. Turn on all the jets and circulate the water. You will notice Spa System Flush going to work immediately as it breaks down the biofilm and brings it to the surface. Leave the spa at least one-half hour or, even better, leave it over night. Drain away the dirty water and wipe the surfaces of the spa to remove the traces of biofilm loosened up by Spa System Flush. Your spa is now clean and ready to be refilled with fresh water.
Spa System Flush is also effective at removing scale from your spa. Scale builds up on the heating element and may reduce the performance of your heater.
One bottle does two applications on an average-sized spa. We recommend keeping it on hand and using it each time you drain and refill your home spa. Spa System Flush is also great for cleaning whirlpool baths.
