The ITT-HydroAir Magnaflow series of pumps is a popular model. It is used by many spa manufacturers and offers excellent performance.  This is a single-speed pump, used to operate massage jets.  It is typically installed as a second or third pump in spas that have lots of jets.

Male threaded, with an assymetric MBT 2-inch thread.  Pump unions are available as an optional extra.
