This Balboa control system is equiped with Balboa's patented M7 technology, which uses a pair of temperature sensors  at the entrance and exit of the heater to measure the flow of water.  These solid-state sensors are much more reliable that more tradional pressure-switch technology.

The integrated 3kW heater uses a resistance in Incoloy 800.
